About this Room
We have a dedicated Campus Security Team on site 24/7, 365 days a year who are trained in first aid and can provide assistance and advice for minor incidents.
If you intend in working late in the Kydd Building, Old College, Graham Building or the Baxter Building, please let security know where you are and how long you will stay to ensure you are protected in an emergency. You do not need to inform Security if you are studying in the Library. This is covered by the Library staff.
If you are a visitor or contractor, you must report here to "check-in" and receive a visitors badge.
The security desk is accessible via the main foyer of the Kydd Building. There is wheelchair access adjacent to the rotating doors of the Bell Street entrance. When entering the foyer from Bell Street, the security desk is straight ahead. If in doubt, the staff on the reception desk will be happy to help.
Level 1 Kydd Building
Part of the Main Campus, the Kydd Building consists of 5 levels and is accessible from Bell Street, the Staff Carpark and the Courtyard.
